Finding a “good job” can be a difficult task for anyone, but it’s an even greater challenge for young people that lack the education and experience of their competitors.

Youth Action Project prepares the next generation of workers by creating opportunities for youth and young adults to develop the skills needed to succeed in today’s job market. 

We’ve help hundreds of young workers overcome barriers to employment.  Our alumni have gone on to secure jobs in local government agencies, corporations, nonprofits, school districts, and launched their own businesses.

Young Workers programming provides out-of-school, opportunity youth and young adults with targeted case management, educational assistance, paid work experience, work readiness training, and supportive services to enhance participants’ access to jobs with sustainable wages.
